What is your primary carry pistol...Why?

HK P2000, .357 Sig with LEM trigger or S&W 642. I shoot both well, and these two specimens are reliable. Often I carry the revolver on my person but will have the other in the vehicle. I have yet to find a holster that works for me despite having spent hundreds of $'s trying them. Before legal concealed carry, I carried my stuff in my back pocket. I really just can't break the habit. I like a Glock, but I would never sit down on a loaded one.

My primary carry gun is a colt cobra in a Kramer pocket holster loaded with 110 grain hydra shocks and a speedloader of the same. great gun only slightly bigger than a J-frame and gives me an extra round, its very easy to carry here in Florida where its very hot right now. I have no doubt it will do its job if I do mine if need be.

Presently I carry a Firestar M43. I'm in the proccess of breaking in a Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II in .45 ACP...Have 200 rounds to go and if it can do these without stumbling we purchase leather for it and semi-retire the Firestar...

glock 27 40 SW.. nice and small yet packs quite a punch... with the new grip i bought, it now can hold 10 rounds... :)

CZ-75D PCR. For me its one of the best combinations of accuracy, reliability, capacity and size in a 9MM.

Glock 17 with Federal JHP Ammunition in a CompTac MTAC IWB Holster. It goes bang every time I fire.

I carry a S&W mod.36 snub in blue loaded with whatever i can find :D
also i sometimes carry i PPK/s in blue

why?
because the 36 is small, reliable, simple, and has enough stopping power for me,i know most people usually carry airweights but the newer ones are mostly stainless and flashy ,which i dont find good for ccw

Kahr PM9 in a pocket holster, nine months of the year.
Kahr P45 or Kimber Ultra Carry IWB the remaining three months.

Why? Because the 5 j-frames I've owned were just a bit big, and I don't shoot them as well as the Kahr. Because none of the four Kel-Tecs I've owned were reliable enough to trust/carry. Because the two Glocks I've owned were too heavy and too fat. And so on...

The PM9 is small, light, accurate and reliable. It's in my pocket right now. :)

In the Winter, my primary carry is a HK P7. Very thin like a PPS, 8+1 capacity, 4" barrel makes for great accuracy, squeeze cocker ensures great safety, and European mag release ensures the magazine doesn't get accidentally released in the holster.

In the Summer, a Seecamp LWS32. Better than my knife or my fist.

G17.Reliability is paramount in a carry pistol. My G17 has an oustanding record of reliabiltiy. It is combat accurate in my hands and then some.17+1 rounds is usually sufficient. For me, its easy to carry with the right belt and holster.

Just changed from a Glock23/27 setup to a Springfield XDm. Full size 40 S&W that has a fully supported chamber and match barrel and a very good striker fired trigger.

My primary carry pistol is a Wilson Combat Professional, carried in a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2, held in place by a Don Hume gunbelt.

Most of the time(90- 95%) I carry a Glock 23 loaded with 165 gr Federal HST's in either a Blackhawk CQC paddle or a High Noon Bare Skin OWB. On the few occasions that I need something a little slimmer I go with my 3913 loaded with 124 gr HST's in a High Noon Bare Asset IWB.

Of the four guns I own these are the two that get carried because these are the two that eat whatever I give them and have been 100% reliable. Neither one has ever had a malfunction of any kind, ever (over 7,000 rounds on the 3913). My other two have very rarely malfunctioned, but they have and that puts that itty bitty little sliver of doubt in my brain. So I stick with the ones I know will go bang every time.

GLOCK 27 or a S&W 642. They are both small and they both work 100% of the time. Actually the 642 will give me light strikes on hard primers sometimes, but the 27 has fired over 5000 rounds with zero malfs.

G27 because it's smaller than the G23. I will carry the 23 if I'm thinking I may want more bullets. ;) Basically I use Glocks because that's my duty gun.

I always carry my HK P2000SK LEM in 40 SW. Why...well because it fits my hand perfectly and I love the LEM trigger. It is what I am most comfortable with. I have never had it fail on me which is the biggest plus I think.
