I have acquired a random magazine, it looks like a Beretta but has no markings. Any ideas?

I had not thought of that, thanks. Also, I think it is a .40 S&W caliber. Thoughts?

I think Hi power or cz75 series - both were made in 40 at least to some extent. Not at home so cant take a pic for you.

Not prepared to rule out tanfo or something else, though.

All good suggestions, although I don’t have anything to compare to. The follower looks to be chrome. It will not fit in my Beretta 92.

Looks similar to my CZ magazines except for the metal follower, but could be an older design.

A few more pics. First one shows 9mm, then 40, then 45. The lip barely holds the 9. I can load multiple rounds of 40 and 45.

Next two pics are dims of the mag tube.

Looks like an old CZ 97 magazine to me. Or a magazine for EAA Witness (Tanfoglio) .45ACP pistols.
How many rounds of .45ACP holds? Ten?

.40 seems a sloppy fit.
In my opinion is a .45 magazine.
Base plate and base plate plunger looks so CZ to me.

The body taper begins about halfway between the release notch and the top. On the CZ mag, the taper appears to begin just above the release notch. It appears to be closer to a Taurus PT24/7 mag.

I don't think Beretta- if it was for a 92F/M9 it would have 2 cutouts for the mag release, and if it was for one of the older euro- style 92's, the mag release cutout would be at the bottom.

It’s not for a Beretta, I’m sure of that.

Might be an Astra.

Thanks for the suggestion. I believe you are the winner. I am almost certain it is for an Astra A90 45 ACP 9 round. I have compared pictures of that mag with this one and everything appears to match, including one picture I found with the chrome follower. Now, if someone could verify the dimensions shown in my 8th post. Thanks to everyone.
