It may in fact be metric.
But the information I have is how to cut the threads on an American lathe, with American measuring tools, which doesn't generally cut or measure metric.
The measurements I gave should be close enough to work anyway.
But as always, to be sure, you should take the old barrel out and measure it. That is the best way to insure a good fit on a new barrel anyway.
BTW: I'm also kind of curious as to why the OP wants to re-barrel one?
They are severely limited to what calibers you could change one too due to the necessary charging clip, cartridge head size, and limited pressure the action is capable of holding.
the reasons to rebarrel it are 1) it has no barrel now. 2) I have a barrels sitting around. 3) I need another project. 4)I have nothing better to do. 5) the best of all I need the practice in changing the gears on my lathe.
