What powder for 300 win mag W/ 180 gn. Partition ?

I have only used Reloader 22 until now, Haven't seen it in Two years.
Down to my last 20 rounds.
With 74 gn. I was getting 3030 FPS with a very low spread and Great accuracy.
Not sure what going to be available in the near future.

I’d try MagPro, H1000 (what military uses with 190gr SMK) H4831, IMR7828, RamShot Magnum, or Retumbo.
Even Accurate 4350 will work well.

I feel your pain! I’ve got a LOT of loads that use Alliant powders.

I use H4831SC and H1000, now IF I could only find more H1000..

Both over FED215s or 215Ms

My old go to load was with IMR 4831. But there are a lot of powders that work well in the 300.

Don't use IMR7977 it's been discontinued. You'll be hunting for another powder it you do.
The options everyone recommended would be my short list.
I'm an H1000 or IMR 4831 fan.

I load for a 300 RUM, pretty much the same thing. H1000, Retumbo, IMR 7828, IMR 4831, MagPro, and Reloader 22 will all work. You didn't mention the bullet manufacturer. Use the reloading manual for that bullet and see what will work. I never throw away and old manual and reviewed those too when I was looking for an alternative to Retumbo. Powder does seem to be coming back. So, keep checking. By the way, Powder Valley has Reloader 22 right now.

Rl-23 will zing those guys along also.

Yep, I use RL 23 and 17 also. RL 23 is supposedly more temperature sensitive than RL 22, but neither have been available for last year or so.

I got 3lbs a year or so ago, but havent seen any since.
Im only running it in my 280AI now for just that reason.

When I went through that exercise with the powders I had on my shelf, IMR4350 and Rl17 proved to be most accurate pushing a 180 at about 3000 fps. The other contenders were H and IMR 4381 and Magpro. The rifle was an AB3.

IMR 7828 has been my personal favorite for this cartridge using 180 or heavier bullets.
