I started reloading with the Lee Challanger Anniversary Kit and eventually moved up to the Redding T-7 turret press. I now use the Lee to prime and load on the Redding. I don't find the turret a whole lot faster as I am batch loading my ammo but I do like being able to set up two sets of dies in the press. I recently picked up a RCBS press off of Ebay that I'm setting up to use at the range.

I have been using a Lee Classic Turret for the last 4 years - thinking about getting a Lee Loadmaster for 45acp and 9mm.

Three

Hornady Classic single stage

Hornady LNL progressive

Lee 4 Hole turret

All are great, and have a place in my reloading schemes:D

Here is my spread...

RCBS Special 5
RCBS Partner
Lee Classic Cast
Harrells Precision 308 sized press
Dillon Square Deal
MEC 650 12ga

Lets see, i have several Lee hand loaders that you pound the case into the die that sometimes get used for some spl. project.
Some Lyman tong tools
RCBS Rockchucker
RCBS Big Max
2 Forester Co-Ax's
C&H Autochamp
RCBS Green Machine
several Corbin and SAS swage presses
several Mec shot shell presses

BUT, here's what is on my "main" loading bench,

I have 2 Lee hand presses I use at the range, at work, or so me and the woman can sit on the couch and prep cases while watching a movie.

RCBS Partner I use for decapping, small batches, and Precision stuff.

Dillon 550 That does almost all of my pistol and AR ammo

Started with the Lee breech lock single stage - 50 rounds per hour at a relaxed pace, upgraded to the perfect for my needs Lee CLASSIC 4-hole auto-advancing turret and at the same VERY relaxed pace churn out 150-175 rounds per hour.

I'm eclectic:

Single-stage: Hollywood Senior
Double-stage: 2-Dunbars
Semi-progressive: CH4D 444
Progressive: Dillon 550B and a Phelps
Turret: Hollywood Senior Turret, Hollywood Universal B, and Hollywood Universal-III Special

I started with a Lee classic turret around five years ago. I bought a Dillon 550 not too long ago to speed up a couple of calibers.

Three progressives, one semi-progressive, one turret, two single stages and a shotgun press.

I am new to reloading and have an RCBS Partner.

For pistols: Lee Turret and an old Lyman turret--don't know the model type. 250rds/week

Occassionally get the urge for a progressive, but I'm retired, so what would I do with the extra time but shoot more. Hmmmm

Hi.
I have a Dillon 550, a rockchucker and a Lee Clasics cast.
I use mono´s for 32 sw wad cutter reloads, and Dillon for 9mm and 38/357.
Greetings.

When I started reloading in the 70's I was given a used Spar-T turret press. I wanted a single stage and bought a used RCBS Rockchucker. Then I bought a used Lee anniversary kit from a retiring reloader to get the dies and other accessories, primers/propellant it came with. Over time I have acquired 20 Lee loaders and a Lee hand held press to use at the range. Recently I have started shotshell reloading and now have 4 MEC 600 JR's. A buddy recently got a super auction deal on a RCBS turret press and sold it to me for his cost.:D I keep all the presses mounted and used with the exception of only one shotshell press at a time due to space limitations. Never had the urge to spend for a progressive yet.:D

1 Lee Turret
1 Lee Classic Turret
1 Lee Loadmaster

Got rid of my single stage press when I got the Classic Turret. If you can only have one press the Lee classic Turret is it.
