What semi-auto pistol do you shoot best?

Like other posters I shoot 1911's better than anything else. Current favorite is a PM-38 in 38 Super, new to the cartridge and absolutely love it. Have to admit it's a handloaders dream.
Really like CZ's, have an 85 Combat and a PCR. Most accurate 9mm's I've ever owned. Don't shoot them a whole lot anymore due to ammo prices. my interest in the 9mm punybellum was directly tied to the $10.00 for 50 rounds and we all know that ship has sailed. :(
Refuse to use my components to reload for it, need them for other stuff.
I've shot other peoples Glocks and found them to be quite accurate, but they are not for me, something about that springy thingy in the trigger, just don't trust it. :scrutiny:

A lot to be said about amount of training with any given gun, and what youre used to. I shoot a Glock 19 the best, but it sees 10x more rounds than any other semi. And I'm not shooting for precision accuracy, just enough to be able to hit the FBI bottle target. Honestly the reliability and durability of this gun are what matter most in this case.

With this in mind, I believe if I shot all guns equal and did an "experiment" to see which one I shot the tightest slow-fire group with (ive never done this experiment,or at least never kept track), I'd bet on this surplus Browning HI-Power I have that has been refurbished, and It has had a trigger job at some point and breaks at about .... I don't know how many pounds, but it breaks clean at about half the pressure of my 2 other Hi-powers. Of course, also has had the magazine disconnect safety removed*** Disclaimer*** I never let new shooters fire this gun, nor do I ever carry this gun. It's just too light of trigger and it's at a point where it could be unsafe in a number of different scenarios both on the range in the wrong hands, or in the field. I've witnessed 2 different times, separate incidents, where a new shooter firing a double action revolver in single action sent the first round (instance 1) upwards at about a 20 degree angle due to poor trigger control and poor muzzle control when acquiring sight picture and (instance 2) the same reasons and into the concrete floor at an indoor range, the spalling sprayed the paper target.
(This hi power is about as light of trigger as my lightest factory double action Smith ad Wesson revolver)

The Hi-Power is a thing of beauty....the way they feel in the hand, they way the sights come up, and the way they shoot. The crisp, glass smooth racking of the slide..... the sound of the hammer clicking into place crisply....

SIG P320 X-carry Legion and Canik Rival.
Were your Rival sights set high out of the box? Most manufacturers I have bought from calibrate to middle of front sight, this is set to top of front.

It is the most accurate gun I've ever shot though. I was getting 2-3 shots through same hole easily last weekend, barely trying.

RIA 2011/1911a2....what ever you wanna call it...in 10mm.

I have pictures somewhere, ill post one, but its not real interesting anyway.

Actually mine were set a little low.
That Rival is quite a nice gun.

Shoot best (and it is wimpy compared to many answers here) - S&W Shield EZ .380 performance center, which is the first gun I ever owned.

Enjoy shooting - that, and any of the other 20+ weapons I have acquired since the first purchase
