What should Taurus make next?

Seeing more and more people recognizing the improvements in Taurus QC lately and with the recent purchase of a GX4 that I am finding feels better than Glock, on top of a 92 from last year, I'm becoming very fond of Taurus autoloaders.

Taurus has really slimmed down what they offer for autos, so I'd like to know what is it people here would like to see Taurus make next for a semi auto?

Personally, a 10mm would interest me, but what I would buy is a .32 micro pocket pistol.

My Gx4 has also been quite satisfactory. And my 92 (technically PT99) has been shooting well for over 30 years. If I needed a 22, I would probably get a TX22.

Their version of the P3AT/LCP wasn't that great, IIRC. A better version, including single stack, double stack, and 32acp variants would be nice.

If they want to sell a bunch of guns, something aimed at the Shield EZ market. Something very easy to rack with easy recoil, rounded edges, decent trigger and sights, etc. and specifically marketed as such.

I bought my Taurus TCP732 in the spring of 2012 of what turned out to be the last batch of .32 pocket pistols made by Taurus in 2011. As much as I'd like any decent gun maker to come back with a good locked breech pocket gun in .32 ACP, I think the idea is dead.

Which one? The TCP 738, or the Spectrum 380? There was a .32 ACP version of the TCP also, as chicharrones said, the TCP 732.

I have a TCP 738, and it goes bang when I pull the trigger and is more than accurate for it's intended use, which is as a 'get off me' gun. I carry it everywhere I legally can; it's light, unobtrusive in my pocket, and is my New York reload when I carry my Gx4.

Since they have a line of products half the price of Glocks and other brands, how about a 5.7x28 at around $400.

How about expanding their successful TX-22 into a 22 mag; I’m sure the engineers can widen the grip just enough.

They could also follow Hi-Point by converting their G series platform into a pistol caliber carbine, with a folding stock, say about $375.

The if they’re real daring, take their 942 eight-shot 22lr revolver and slim it down to a very small frame like the old H&R revolvers. Then go really big and make it in a polymer frame (they already do it for the Judge), keep it less than 10 ozs. so it will fit in any pocket, Then go all out and make it in 22 mag.

A manual safety version of the TX4. Alternate grip frames for the TX4.

A competitor to the Keltec CMR utilizing their TX22 magazines would be nice, maybe offer a 12" barrel with a permanently attached suppressor shroud to get to 16" to avoid NFA tax stamp and be able to utilize one's suppressor. Would make for a nice backpack companion to a their TX22.

Combining the Keltec CMR30 (but in 22lr) with the TacSol X-Ring SBX barrel linked below

I have no doubts a 5.7 is on the way as everyone is making them now, I just don't want one.

I wouldn't be surprised if a PCC that uses G2 and G3 mags is revealed at SHOT next year.

I would absolutely like an H&R style micro frame revolver, but I do not expect anyone will make them.

PCC. Preferably bull pup that kicks empty’s out the bottom. Make it modular and it could be really interesting if it were workable as bullpup or as folder, flipper, or fixed. 9mm that works like a classic browning 22 would be nice.

As long as Kel Tec keeps selling their .32 and guntubers like Lucky Gunner keep demonstrating the positive aspects and capabilities of the caliber, there is always potential the industry takes notice.

I'm going to have to put a halt on recommending Taurus, explanation will be in a different topic.
