What sling set-up on your AR-15 carbine?

I use a 3 point sling by Specter Gear on my AR. I do use one of their single point slings on my Remington 870. I like their single point because it has a quick detach so you can remove the sling from the mount.

I run the Specter Gear MOUT sling because for competition and classes, it is extremely convenient to be able to snap in and out of the weapon without removing the sling (or snap a new weapon in). I've been very pleased with it; but I don't know if it would meet your needs.

The Blue Force Gear SOC Sling is a pretty neat set-up. It is basically one sling that can be rigged in any conceivable fashion (single-point, 2-point, 3-point). So for a little more than the cost of a good quality sling, you can get a sling that will let you try out all three methods and decide which suits you best. If you go for the SOC-C Contractor pack it is also configurable for about any weapon made instead of being AR-specific; but it costs about $30 more.

I use a single-point "simple sling" from brownells. It is simply a heavy nylon strap that forms a loop and attaches to an aftermarket sling mount that fits between the buttstock and receiver. It is a lot less complicated than the 3 point "tactical" slings, and works very well.

Exactly! With a GG&G adapter. :)

UPS brought my Giles single point from Wilderness Tactical yesterday. Looks like a quality product. ..........Essex

Alot single point slings are out there to choose from, I've tried a few of them, I'd bought this one from one of the members here, who has them for sell.

I chosen the OD,he also has black and coyote brown.

i'm not a fan of single-point slings, but i've been very happy with the Specter 3-point slings I have on two of my ARs. (the rest of my ARs have good old-fashioned Turner slings for HP)

They're good slings reasonably priced.

btw, those "mamba" slings look pretty tacticool too

The Same sling that the FBI and DEA us its a Viking Tactical VTAC Sling. Look on the Rock River website. It is the Best Bang for the buck.
