I was online and stumbled across a decent looking .22 bolt action and before I knew it, my credit card magically levitated out of my pocket and the rifle done got ordered.

Here is the place I got it from:

I spoke to the business owner and he tells me that the bore is beautiful and it is a nice little gun.

I will post photos and a review when I get it, but if anyone can tell me a little about these guns I would appreciate it.

Oh, and please don't tell me that they go for $50 in all the pawnshops in Kentucky. I live in California and I haven't found any other .22s that are not Marlin or Rugers.

They seem to be well liked from the little bit of looking I just did online. Not one of the fancy BSA target guns, but it is a BSA.

English made, maybe 50 years ago or so, they made a single-shot, a 5-rd. box mag model and the tube fed one. There are a lot of people talking about good accuracy for an inexpensive gun.

IOW, I don't know a thing and I've never touched one. You post back later and tell us.

Nice looking guns.
