What to Buy Before AWB Possibly Extended?

I'd have to agree with the crowd that believes the present Ban will either be renewed As Is, or extended slightly to include more firearms.
That being said, on my list for this year (providing I stay employed),
AR15, A3 config, 16" brl
Yugo SKS
Romanian AK
-Hi-Cap mags, where applicable
-Oh Yes...Lots of Ammo

Then if any more funds,
another AR15, A2, 20" brl
another M1

(Wow, my wish list is big, and I didn't even list pistols! Need to win the lottery!)

Re: why buy magazines? As far as we know, a new ban would ban the SALE of full-cap mags, not just the production of them. So get out there and buy what you will want.

I doubt it will get tighter. It will probably go away or stay the same. I am selling off preban mags. Another nice thing is that if there is any gap between when the bill expires and when a possible new one takes effect. We will have a whole new class of preban guns. All the leo guns will be preban as well as leo mags.

I caved.

I just put a Romainian AK on layaway, w/ 2 30rd'ers and a 5rd'er. I am weak. God help me if I run into enough money for an AR.
