Need a little help here guys and I know these are always fun for me.

What I have:
Glock 19 9mm
Charter Arms Undercover .38 special
Remmington 710 30.06
Mossberg 590 12 gauge
Ruger Mark III .22
Walther P22 .22
Beretta 96 .40 sw
Stag Arms Model 2 AR15 5.56mm

What I need......... You tell me.

I am not a hunter but I have looked into it, I collect for collectors sake and I love to go to the range. AKs are not legal in my state :cuss:. I carry my Glock (mostly) for self defense. The Mossberg and Beretta are my house guns. Ive looked into some stuff but I want to know what you all think I need.

Thanks, have fun!

Maybe a .22 rifle? Seems all your 22's are handguns. And, if you can't get an AK, an SKS is the next best thing. You can get hi-capacity magazines for them (if legal) They're cheaper than AK's anyway.

You collection seems fairly complete -- I might add an M1A or a Garand on the long gun side -- maybe a 1911 on the pistol side

Well, I am going to say M&P 40, and really should I say anything else, after all I did just buy mine today.

Fits my hand better then any other pistol Ive ever held

What I would recommend:
quality FAL or variant
decent AK or variant

not trying to turn this into an AR bashing thread or a debate, but all of the battle rifle platforms do have their drawbacks and the fact of the matter is if you look at them as tools you'll see there's no wondertool, so therefore having one or two others for different purposes would be wise.

my .02

Yugo SKS or M1 Garand or M1 Carbine or maybe a K31 Schmidt Rubin or MK IV Enfield.
Heck, one of each.

You're a little light on Milsurps and Main Battle Rifles. For $100-150 a rifle it would be easy to fill this category.

A.22LR rifle and a 1911 are must haves.

I dunno

Well, you have a .223/5.56 AR clone.

You don't seem to have a .22 LR rifle.

I'd be adding something in .22 LR, or even .22 S/L/LR, like a Marlin 39A. 'Course I kinda like lever guns.

If you don't have a religious thing against them, I'd suggest a good lever rifle.

You've got a good deer gun, but a Marlin 336C in .30-30 wouldn't hurt.

And then there's the Marlin 1894C in .357/.38 Special.

Since .22 LR is the one you're missing, I would suggest a .22 lever rifle. Marlin, Henry, something like that. The nice thing about the tube-fed .22 lever guns is that they will usually take all three lengths of .22 ammo.

Means you can shoot CB, BB, and Colibri powderless rounds in addition to all the full loads.

Well, at least it would be something different.

If you collect for collecting's sake, then an M1 Garand should be at the top of the list. Also, a .22lr, as stated repeatedly, should be in everyone's collection.

Pretty good collection there. If it were mine I would be looking for a 1911 and/or a 22-250 heavy barrel rifle to compliment the rest.

After that, I would post the same thread with my additions and the same question and repeat time and time again. Guns are addictive!

If I had your collection, the next thing for me would have to be a 1911, or something else in .45 like a H&K or Sig.

1911 pistol
.22lr rifle (CZ 452 bolt action or Ruger 10/22 rifle)
.357 magnum revolver (4 or 6 inch)
.270 bolt action rifle and scope for big game hunting

Just a few to ponder over

Glock 19 9mm
Charter Arms Undercover .38 special
Remmington 710 30.06
Mossberg 590 12 gauge
Ruger Mark III .22
Walther P22 .22
Beretta 96 .40 sw
Stag Arms Model 2 AR15 5.56mm

What I need......... You tell me.

For when you're done with messing around: a .45 auto.

Great Advice

Thanks for all the great input. Most of it reinforced what I have been looking at but I got some great new input to look over. Incase you were wondering this is what is on my personal "to get" list. They are in no particular order.

10/22 (Cause I do need a .22 rifle)
AK47 (When I move out of state or they are legalized)
357 Desert Eagle (Big ole fun range gun, plus I have wanted one for a while)
Sig P232 (A friend had one and I really liked it)
Yugo SKS (Needed a milsurp rifle and they are cheap and effective)
M14 (I just like them)
Remmington 870 (Never hurts to have 2 pump actions)
pt 1911 (We all need some 1911 love'in)
