I have been saving my once fired brass for about a year now and have accumulated:
750 .45 - Assorted Headstamp
1,400 .308 - 900 Winchester, 100 Federal, 200 Remington, 200 Assorted.
2,250 .223 - 740 Remington UMC, 660 American Eagle, 500 Swiss ordinance, 350, assorted headstamp
200 .30-06 - 100 Remington, 100 Wolf/Privi
Not counted yet: .9mm/.357/.38/.44mag
Now the question is do I:
1) sell to local recycler for $1.30-$1.40 I have approx. 200 lbs. of brass.
or
2) Offer it to reloaders?
or
3) Keep it for the day I start reloading as I live in CA and am looking at legislation, AB2062, that would limit my ability to purchase ammo?
Then the question is What is a fair price for once fired, not cleaned, not deprimed brass?
