What two are keepers ?

Tough question. If only one, a 4-inch GP100 .357. Hard to figure out #2 among the several options. Hard to choose between a Glock 23 (with a 9mm conversion barrel for flexibility) or one of several different .22s. Guess I'd give the nod to a Browning Buckmark with a suppressor. Reloading for the .357 would provide everything from light plinking loads to hunting-capable magnums. And the suppressed .22 ... just for the fun of it.

My Baer SRP would be the last to go - unless I was trying to raise money.

My G26 is my EDC, but my Shield9 carries better.

But my .22/45 is a ball to shoot, and the least expensive with factory ammo (when available).

But my CZ75 is a joy at the range, my G20 is my only woods gun, and so on and so on.

The bottom line is every handgun I own is a keeper. I have already gladly sold the non-keepers.

It would be hard. I like too many.
I would stick with a K22 Masterpiece and a Colt 45 Gold Cup National Match for my shooting if necessary to limit myself to two pistols.

Hrm... which two are keepers... well, definitely my 1911...and my model 19... and the speed six, and of course i'll need a pocket gun, so the LCP or LCR...
Numbers were never my strong point.

for what it is worth

I am new to shooting but for what it is worth

cz 75b or p-01 in 9mm

beretta 92 fs or storm fx4 in 9mm

the first listings are for home defense and target practice the second for target shooting and ccw(if I ever decide to)

happy shooting--stay safe;)

My top two would be my Sig 228 and my HK P7M8. They're both relatively concealable while still being large enough to be easy to shoot.

If we expand it to a third gun, I'd be at a loss as to what to pick. It would probably be split between my Model 19 (who doesn't love a .357 Mag revolver?) and the Makarov that I'm setting up for a micro suppressor.

One for the field and one for the streets.

Security Six, being heavier and stronger, would be my field/house gun and the S&W Combat Magnum my carry gun with Buffalo Bore 158gr LSWHP .38s.

I'm just going to go by a situation where space is a limitation. No SHTF or specific NEED.

I'd keep my Springfield Loaded 1911 because it's powerful, accurate, and I just really, really love that gun.

I'd also keep my SP101 since it is comfortable to wear, robust, and will eat pretty much any flavor of .38-.357 without question.

I mean, I'll miss my polymer 9mm and .40, but if I could only keep two, those would be the two.

Now in a true SHTF situation, I would probably opt for a hi-cap 9mm. But for a "pick your two favorites to keep", the 1911 and snubbie win out.

Ignore the glock in the below pic, and you have my answer.
No problem, it doesn't belong in that picture anyway lol.
I mean two works of art with something that just works.

First, my Sig 229, because it has .357sig, 9mm and .40S&W barrels.
Second, my RIA 22TCM because it also has a 9mm barrel to go with the .22TCM barrel.
A close third is my Judge, .45 Colt/410 shotshell.

Is that cheating?? Only problem is with those three I still don't have a .45 auto...

Thats pretty easy.
#1 TC Contender
#2 S&W Model 10 (for sentimental reasons)

S & W 686
Walther P99 AS 9mm

Very good chance a Bersa Thunder 9UC Pro with a 40 S & W conversion accompanying could sneak in there depending on my mood.

actually a good question & surprisingly easy for me to answer

--my 45acp Kimber Custom Stainless Gold Match with a Kimber made 22 upper
both accurate <1.5" at 25 yards, and a left grip plate provides a rail for a red-dot

--Sig P-239/40 with its 357 Sig and 9mm Conversion barrels

That's 5 calibers with 2 guns -- I will get by!!
