You are using the old High Contrast theme. We have installed a new dark theme for you, called UI.X. This will work better with the new upgrade of our software. You can select it at the bottom of any page.
But I question whether they are ALL codetalkers. Top row doesn't appear to be very Native American. Tough call. I also still question the cut off sleeves.
FYI - Did a search on Bougaineville and it's a small island close to Papua New Guinea.
Having spent some time with the people in the 4 Corners area, they all appear to be Native American to me.
Cut off and frayed sleeves was not at all out of the ordinary, even in combat units as recent as 30 yrs ago. Sometimes you had to make do with what you had. You weren't always in a position to run down to supply and pick up new issue so sometimes what you had got a bit thread worn.
