This is just for those of us that are comfortable with this question so those that do not like to talk about what they have feel free to ignore this thread. What was your last firearm purchase and what will be your next? Handgun, rifle, or both. Maybe even why? I like seeing how the firearms tastes of different members vary from each other and from my own personal tastes.

Handgun:
Last- Taurus PT92 in stainless, because I did not own a 9mm
Next- Hopefully a Ruger .454casull Alaskan, because I like things that make big booms and I want to take it backpacking.

Rifle:
Last- .30-.30 Marlin 336XLR in stainless, because it is freakin' sweet.
Next- .30-.06 Ruger M77 Sporter in stainless, because I need something a little smaller than my .45/70 and my .30/.30 in case I ever find myself needing to hunt to feed myself.

In Nov I bought a .380 Sphinx, from the close by gun store, because I liked the looks of it.
I hate it when I stop in there for a coffee and to shoot the bull and the owner says, "Have I got something to show you.":D

Then I bought a FN 5.7 at a gun show because I think it might be interesting.

Then I bought the new Kel Tec PLR-16 at the gun show. I knew this would be interesting.

I think I'll try the new Skyy when I find one and the new Kel Tec 9mm.

I'm thinking about getting another Kel Tec PLR-16 for a car gun.

And I'm always on the lookout for buys on Makarovs (got 14 now :) ).

Hmmmm.... Not sure what my last purchase was. A S&W 638 snub nose I think.

Been gettin' itchy to buy a new gun though lately. Always wanted a Sig P226 to go with my P220 but my CZ75B SA fills that bill and I got enough handguns in every caliber now that buyin' another just becuz' is gettin' a little hard to justify - EVEN to my GUN LOVIN' self. Rifle wise I got the bases covered and I'm not really a rifle guy anyway.

Kinda like to have a compact semi-auto pistol chambered in .40 S&W. Something I can just drop in a pocket. Any suggestions?

My last two purchases were Wilson Classic pistols. Bought an all stainless last Aug and liked it so much that I bought another in stainless frame/black slide in Jan. GREAT pistols.

Good shooting and be safe.

Last: Kel-Tec .380. Works flawlessly. Perfect. :D

Prior to that: Kahr .45. Jam-o-matic. Sold. :(

Next: Springfield XD9 tactical. :)

Rifles:

Last: Nornico SKS (accepts AK mags) - nice rifle. :D

Next: Nothing on the horizon, but perhaps some sort of .308 or .30-06 caliber rifle, either a bolt-action, single-shot NEF, or a semi-auto like a Saiga or Garand.

last: glock 35
next: if my custom rifle gets done, it will be next. if i get the money up before the rifle is done, my next will likely be a trio of glock 22's.

after the rifle gets done, i'll have one more rifle built, and then i think i'm done, permanently, w/ long guns - no more coming or going.

Last handgun: Hi-Point 45, lots of fun

Next handgun: If my C&R goes through a nagant revolver, otherwise a Taurus 44 mag w/ 12" barrell and scope. Maybe.

Next Rifle: Romanian AK47 if I can find an outdoor range close enough to use it at otherwise a Hi-Point 45 carbine.

Last: Taurus PT-145 Millennium Pro .45 (great little gun at a bargain price, IMO)

Future: I really would like to get a Marlin levergun if I can get a bit of spare cash (and your pics aren't a very good deterrent to that PP :D )

.

Well, I don't have a last as I'm currently saving up for my first lol

When I get the money together I'm looking at a Ruger Mark II or Mark III to start out with. :)

Chris

Last Handgun: Colt 1991A1 XSE
Last rifle: select-fire FNC
Next: Either a Glock 19 for use and abuse or the FN FS2000, FN SCAR, SIG556, or Steyr AUG A3 when they come out.

Hey, I do what I can. :D
I really like the 2 Marlins I have (the .30-.30 336XLR and the .45/70 1895GS). I would recommend you get one. I am broke because of them myself but for once I have no buyers remorse at all. They make me feel like a cowboy. :D

My last purchase was a Thompson Center Classic .22 semiautomatic. My next purchase hopefully will be either a Browning Buckmark, a Ruger MKII or III, or a Lee Enfield so that I can get one of the Enfields sporterized in 7.62x39. I also STILL have to send my Glock off to get Robarized. And my Mosin Nagant M38 Scout project is almost finished, except that the stock is locked up in the post office till Monday. Then I want a Ruger Alaskan, for CCW:D By the time those guns are purchased I will have been transferred out of California so it will be time to start working on the AR15 collection. Of course I still have to work on accumulating an even larger pile of ammo than I already have. And I need a Savage or Ruger left handed bolt action in 30-06. Sig 229DAK to practice with since it is my duty weapon. I just realized I need to save a lot more money:eek:

Kifaru: Switch barrel in .300 WSM.

Rifle
Last -- Swede M38
Next -- White Oak Armament DCM AR15

Pistol
Last -- Star BM
Next -- Kimber Target Match

Shotgun
Last -- Stoeger Coach
Next -- Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon

When I turned 40 last year, I told my wife I thought it made sense to have as many guns in my collection as years I am old. Now that I've surpassed that number it is feeling like I'm in full feldged addictiton mode. Maybe 1.5X my age is a better target.

...and I need to live to be 200

Pistol
Last: Walther P22--lots of fun
Next: S&W 360 PD, I need a revolver of some sort

Rifle
Last: I've never actually bought a rifle, they've been inherited
Next: I really want a bolt action precision rifle in .308...just not sure which one

...all I have to do now is save the $$...

Last purchase: For Valentines Day I bought my wife a new-to-me, Browning lever action .22. She loves it. It was a hoot to watch my daughters jaw drop as she watched her mother shoot!

Next purchase: Been looking for a 1911 in 9mm, that I can justify (plinker status).

Last Handgun: Para Ordnance TAC-S -- Commander size with LDA.
Next Handgun: Not really sure, nothing in the works. If the TAC-S works out could be another LDA, but the jury is still out on that. Other than that plenty on the list but near future funds are going towards additional needs for my next rifle.

Last Rifle: This one is tough without digging out receipts as I bought several in Q4 2005. I think it was a Yugo M24/47 8MM.
Next Rifle: I guess this counts as "next", it is paid for but not in my possesion yet. RRA 16" Midlength Flat Top with chrome lined barrel and collapsable stock.

:D I bought a Glock 19 about 3 weeks ago.Getting a Ruger GP100 in a month or 2.

Next up for me will be one of the major pre-20th Century American martial arms, either a Springfield Trapdoor or a Krag. After that a Springfield 1903 and/or a U.S. Model 1917 Enfield. I don't care much for Garands, and their current price means I probably won't ever have one.

Last thing I buy will be some authentic, original Civil War era arms including an 1860 Army revolver and a Model 1860 Springfield musket. I already have a repro of the musket, but it will be nice to have an original with history.

Handgun:

Last: Para LDA CCO .45ACP
Next: Colt Series 70 Combat Commander in 9mm

Rifle:

Last: CZ 527 American Bolt-Action in .223 (good varmint gun!)
Next: Something in 30-06 for the 100th year mark of this cartridge.
