What was your first revolver?

My first revolver was a Colt Frontier Scout .22 given to me by my grandpa.
The first I bought was a Colt Trooper MKIII that had been fired one time. Still have both of them.

Winchester Model 94 Trapper. Bought it with hard earned money at the ripe age of 18 back in 1983. I gave $100.00 for it. The gun was like new when I got it. Sold it 2years later to help buy a wedding ring set. Worse mistake I ever made :)

My first revolver was a S&W 686-6 Plus 2.5" barrel, bought new in 2008 and sold a couple years (and a couple thousands rounds) later to gift to my father a brand new CZ P-01.

Ruger stainless 5 1/5" SBH 44mag. Got it in the early 90s, still have it and will never sell it. It is a fantastic gun and probably my favorite of all.

Dan Wesson 15-2, and it was also my first gun, way back in 1976. About four years ago I gave it to my son, mostly because I had accumulated a "few" (6?) more.

French 8mm Lebel model 1892,,,

French 8mm Lebel model 1892,,,
I named her Margaux.

Her barrel is stamped 1903,,,
So she is 110 years old.

I purchased it at a farm auction in the early 1960's,,,
It came with a disintegrating leather holster,,,
And a small bag of loose ammo,,,
IIRC I paid $10.00 for her.

I still have the old gal to this very day,,,
In fact I recently scored 550 rounds of new Fiocchi ammo for it.

Her action is as tight as any of my other revolvers,,,
And at 25 yards will keep all of the shots on a paper plate.

My first revolver was a S&W 629 Classic Hunter 44 Mag with an unfluted cylinder and an 8 3/8" barrel. I should have kept it. I bought it when I was 16 and I sold it a couple years before I began handloading. I'm still really fond of unfluted cylinders.

Mine was a High Standard .22. "The Marshall" Got it when I was a probably 12. Still have it today! Would be a rich man if I had a dollar for every round fired through it!

Smith model 637. Bought earlier this year. I've only been into firearms for a few years, semi autos caught my attention first. I decided I needed to add a revolver to my small, but growing, collection. I was also in the market for a smaller, lighter carry piece. I figured why not kill two birds with one stone? When finances allow it sure would be nice to pick up something a little more range friendly. Maybe a single action in a 22 caliber.

Colt 22Lr 6" Barrel new in the box $68.00 in the 70's. Brother-in law Gun dealer sold it a few years later for $350.00; said with the box would of been $450.00. Can't believe I through away a perfectly good $100 box in a divorce settlement. Anyway new wife thought she needed extra firepower more than a 22, so bought the SP 101 357 in 3", she shot it one time threw it to the ground and went to the car. Lonely lonely days now at the range.

My first revolver was a Rohm .22lr. I later traded it for a brick of Winchester Wilcats, and I got the better end of the deal!
