OK since people seem to be going with rifle stuff in this rifle forum I'll change my pick to something like an Anschutz based on the 54 action. I like accuracy. Of course I'd probably have to move to Europe to find ammo.

Oh I can think of a few things! The question is do I blow it on one big budget item or spread it across numerous little desires?

I can definitely see myself being tempted by a Uberti Winchester 73

Or perhaps a fancy custom flintlock long rifle.....

Or maybe I'll hit up the CMP for another Garand or two along with a thousand rounds of ammo....

Then again I do have a thing for classic Smith and Wesson revolvers, you know, the ones with the smooth triggers and deep bluing.....

I can also see myself stocking up on 2k worth of primers, lead, and powder.

One thing is for sure however. You my friend have one serious dilemma on your hands!

I would buy ammo,,,
Not because I want to hoard it,,,
But because I like a decent bench stock to draw from.

This amount would cover the cost of 2,000 rounds,,,
Of my three favorite shooting calibers,,,
And 500 of the least favorites.

Imagine how nice it would be to just reach up on your ammo shelf,,,
And get the ammo you want for that days range outing,,,
Then replenish the bench stock as soon possible.

I was able to do that for myself with .22 LR before this last drought,,,
But I didn't have enough for .38, .357, .380, & 9mm.

Rifles? A suppressor, Aimpoint, and a pile of ammo for my AR... or a nice Garand and ammo. Deciding would be hard and probably dependent on Garand availability.
