Sig 210
GP 35
S&W 1917
Savage 99 take down
Winchester 97 take down
Browning 22 break down (suppresed)

As you can tell I think a take down long gun has great potential.

P11 he wouldn't carry them so much as preposition or stash them where here would use them later after passing the frisk.

Well one you guys needs to write a Micky Spillane type novel. Main character uses a 4" model 25 with moon clips, his partner is a drop dead gorgeous female with a 1911. BUG's like J frames. Don't forget the $1 pocket watches and the whiskey in the desk drawer.

Main character is into shot placement, not spray and pray. Movie should come out in B/W.

I know, dreaming again.

If I had a book it would be about a Chinese-American banjo picking mall ninja named Daniel George who was raised by a pack of skunks.

He finds stuff out about how his great great grandfather, an early Chinese immigrant, was killed by a gang of thugs in the 1890s and travels back in time to avenge his death.

He packs a Beretta Stampede and a Marlin Hitech-Redneck Assault Rifle with ghost rings and a scout mounted Aimpoint.

Reehaw!

Hrmm... I guess I'd have to go the usualy (for me) route and say a 1911. It would be described as being "combat customized for the real world by noted Michigan pistolsmith, Ned Christiansen".

And it would be one of those 1911s than never got aimed like in the noir detective movies where the good guy just casually points at the guy and tracks him across the room. And it would also have the same magazine that Bruce Willis had in Last Man Standing... you know... the flush-fit 180-rounders. :p

And it be kept loaded with those "cop killin' Black Talons, specially modified to cause extra extreme painful suffering to anyone on the receiving end".

Did I mention my book was unfortunately written by a anti liberal? ;)
