What you like better?

:uhoh:

Maybe we should post like Marshall did to keep this from a .357 vs. 9mm vs .45.

:what:

Edit, BTW, welcome rifledude.

Visit often and post wisely. :)

Actually, I like both of them. Each caliber has its advantages and disadvantages. For self-defense a good case can be made for my Glock 17. My most favourite pistol is an early-production Les Baer Premier II .45 ACP, though. Can't imagine myself ever parting with it.

Regarding stopping power debate, any guys out willing to volunteer as test persons for my real world 9 mm Luger defensive ammo evaluation I intend to do soon? You know, the 9 mm Luger is impotent (or so I've heard from various folks) and I bet it'll hurt just a little bit... :rolleyes:

I prefer:

CZ-75B SA for .40 (all metal frame - eats up the snappy recoil of a .40 better than a plastic gun does)

S&W 1911 for .45 (sorry Ala Dan but as much as I like my Sig P220 the 1911 has supplanted it as my favorite .45)

My Picks....

9mm = CZ PCR
.357 Sig. = Glock 32
.40 S&W = Glock 23 or Kahr K40
.45ACP = CZ 97B

What I like the most?

My old IMI Desert Eagle in .44mag.

What I like the most that I carry? It's a tie between my HK USPc and my Kimber Stainless Compact.

What do I always carry? My S&W 649.

Second to none, is really second to ONE. CZs are far more reliable than SIGs
in my experience with both brands. Others might agree.
