If I can find a place to go, it will be the Japanese A5 12ga that I bought last year.

Gonna use my Holland and Holland Royal in 16ga....

Naw just kidding. I think I'm gonna use my late fathers Franchi Rennasaince (can't spell it) Elite in 20ga. He loved it, but I never could get used to the look of the recoil pad, but it's starting to grow on me. If I did have the H&H I would use it though.

Ithica 37 Mod choke #7 birdshot.

At times, I've used my Winchester single shot .410 when I'm feeling nostalgic.

I'll be heading back out with my ('60-'61) 870 16GA. Wingmaster. I was in the market this year for a new 1187 12 Supermag but budget constraints are postponing that purchase until next year.

Scratch that!
I'll now be going out with my new 870 12 Ga. Supermag. I'll be shooting 2 3/4 of course but it will be nice to wing some doves with a new 12...

I planted my fields yesterday. I know its a little late but I have been busy at work. As hot and dry as it has been I don't think it would have done anything anyway.

Sorry back to subject.
I will be using my Beretta Onyx my wife bought me a few years ago. It has a 26" barrel, I know some say thats too short. It has never been a problem for me. If I'm on a larger field I can use either my 28" or 30", 1100. All are 12 gauge.

Shells I usually use 3 1/4, 1 1/8, 7.5

16 gauge Remington 1100 choked MOD.

Have a flat of Estate #8s to burn through. Prefer #7.5, but the LGS only had #8 in 16 gauge.

A Browning BSS Sporter in 20 gauge. Unless it rains. Then either a 20 or 28 Model 1100 depending on my mood. I put a Sporter stock on my 20 gauge 1100 and killed a few dove with that last year and it was fun and different.

In my light Ithaca 37 20ga I use the 2.5" Poly Wad 3/4 oz #8 shot with good effect. My 20 ga guns weigh 6 lbs and this load has worked well for me both for quail and dove.
