What's a good price for a stainless Charter Arms Undercover? (Stratford-era)

I saw a Stratford-made stainless Charter Arms Undercover recently.

The shop was asking $300.

The revolver appears to be in excellent condition; nice lockup, clean metal wood grips are great, etc. I doubt it's been shot much.

Is $300 a fair price?

Thanks, o wise HighRoaders!

Sounds high to me. My shop carries them for about $200-225 or so. Although admittedly, I mostly see blued ones. I'd add another ~$25 of value for the stainless model.

That's a fair price where I'm located.

When the blued ones pop up for sale, they go for about $250.

If you want that one, you might want to grab it. I see vintage Charter Undercovers from time to time, but have never seen a stainless one for sale.

Thanks for the help.

I picked up this little pup, for less than $250 out the door. I'm pleased. Really a nice little revolver.
