I can't give away .40 brass for much above scrap price plus shipping these days...if I could get $25 a thousand plus shipping I'd be OK. Since nobody wants .40 it seems, I stopped tumbling it and all the .40 I separate gets shovelled straight into the scrap brass bin- it's not worth the time to sort and clean. All I save is the nickle .40s for myself.
I get between $60-$80 per thousand for .45 acp, $25-$30 per thousand for 9mm.
.38 Special is around $40-$50 per thousand.
.380 & 10mm is ten cents a case easy.
357 mag, 32 S&W is 10-15 cents each.
44 mag/spl, 45 colt, 41 mag, 454 casull, etc. 15-25 cents each depending on demand.
Those prices are tumbled, inspected, sorted, and classified according to popularity or headstamps, culling undesireables, and in reasonable quantity not including shipping(maxing out the flat rate boxes).
