That’s a nice buck anywhere. Bigger than anything I have on camera so far. This guy showed up exactly one time and he’s not as nice as the deer you posted.Caught this buck on the same camera three times in five days in August. Haven't seen him in the past few weeks. This is a big rack for the area I hunt. Zero agriculture and lots of hunters means bucks with very big racks are uncommon.

I couldn't resist...

For philosophy students and other nerds.
I'll leave it up to the forum experts......does the buck in the foreground (last photo) physically dwarf the one behind it or is it a result of the deer just being closer to the camera?
I am by no means an expert but I'll put in my 2 cents worth........
The dark spot on the ground will be my gauge. (Did you have a mineral block or some other attractant there?)
The buck on the left is on the far side of bare ground. The buck coming in from the right is on this side of the grass less ground, closer to the camera.
(I think we all can see that.)
The question is "How deep or wide is that bare spot."
That should give you a better observation relative to the animals size or optical illusion.
Cool picture! and hey, they both are edible, right?
Over budget ($.02), Use care out there!
