Thanks Dean. Part of the dating idea was I planned on shooting +p on a limited basis and wondered if it would take the strain. The sixties weren't that long ago and somethings were still being built well, so I'm hoping there shouldn't be a problem.
Just acquired this 2" In 99% condition. What do you guys think of it? Is it able to take todays higher pressure loads? Is it a shooter or more a collectable? Thanks
Your M37 was made is the mid-'60's and flat latches are more desirable than the later ones. I carry a pre-37 serial 104xxx. I wouldn't shoot +P's in it as these little airweight's aren't intended for a lot of shooting and will shoot loose after awhile. +P will just accelerate the process..
