What's the largest # of guns you ever purchased in the shortest period of time?

We are up to six in the last month. I think we'd better slow down. The credit card bills are starting to look scary. Four of the six were C&R, though.

Never more than three in one day. :)

And that has happened only once.
I was in uniform that day. Postal service uniform. :D

I bought three in one day from different sources. A SKS, AR-7, and a rare bent bolt 91/30. I did have seven transactions in July 2002. But three in one day is the most in the shortest time.

Two in one day. The day I got my SKS I stopped by a friend's house to show it to him and bought a Lorcin 380 from him. I don't know why. I guess I was still excited over getting the SKS.

Seven in one day, total of ten for that week. Gotta love that C&R. :)

For me,

5 in one day, back in October of 1998.

a) Smith & Wesson original old model 60 .38 Special
with the 2" barrel and "R" serial prefix (Used)
b) NIB Browning Hi-Power "Practical" model 9m/m
c) NIB Ruger MK-II KMK-512 .22LR
d) NIB NAA .22 Magnum
e) NIB NAA .22 LR

I purchased 4 in one week.

Winchester 94 in 44mag
Browning Auto 5
Makarov (Russian)
Taurus PT 92

Total of $1190

4 over the course of 2 months (a ruger 10/22, a Mossberg 12 Ga, a Yugo SKS and a Kel-Tec P-11, from middle of Nov 2002 through middle of Jan 2003)

of course, I only own 6 guns total, and only starting buying them early last year.

7 C&R rifles at once. (a 5fer and two individuals)

3 S&W revolvers at once.

I've bought 2 in the same day several other times. I think that is why they invented gun shows : )

Hmmm...about 2 years ago I traded 3 for one. Then got 8 for 2. I also got a kevlar vest somewhere in there. All in one month and all trading, no money involved.

Sheslinger, your point is don't buy more than what you have money for. I have been guilty of buying impulsively, and I am as bad as anyone here. But I find myself disciplining myself to wait for when a REALLY good deal comes along - and they will.
