Does anyone know the detials on the AK-103, like those being built in Venezuela? I mean details, not "I think its like an AK with black furniture and a '74 style brake." I know that much.

I mean, does it have a ribbed dust cover? They appear smooth in the pics. I heard the gas tube is different. How so? Same with the front sight post.

Some photos show them with a smooth-sided receiver (not with the 'milled's trademark rectangle or the 'stamped's trademark oval), while other photos show it with the oval. What are the variances?

Does anyone know the info on the real AK103? Thanks, all.

I heard that the Russians actually encouraged the Venezuelen military to buy AK-101's because of the 5.56mm NATO caliber but they rejected and insisted on 7.62mm.

If anything is different with the AK-103 it's that it has a 90 degree gas block, plastic furniture and 74 style break.:D :neener:
