What's the worst handgun you ever bought and still have?

The worst guns I owned were:

1) The EAA Witness 10mm Auto full size wonder finish...jam-o-matic and backed by a joke of a Customer Service....I traded it for a beautiful S&W 29 44 Mag.

2) That steaming pile of crap of the Chiappa 1911-22...it was an impulse buy one evening, I must have had vision issues that day. As soon as I arrived home, I realized what a piece of junk it was...I sold it few days later without firing a shot...lost only $20.

Walther P22. Wanted a Bersa Thunderer in .22, but my shop didn't have any in stock and I got talked into it. She's picky about the ammo she likes, a real PITA to reassemble, and the barrel likes working loose every hundred rounds or so.
I keep it because of the difficulties in selling a pistol in NYS and no one will give me enough for it.

I have to second the HK VP70. among the worlds worst trigger and very ammo sensitive even with FMJs , don't even think about expanding bullets

Hate to say it, but my Bersa Thunder is a piece of crap. Love the way it feels, and shoots when it does shoot. But constant feed issues, extraction issues, eject issues. I have tried every thing and tried hard to keep a positive attitude about the gun, but it just fails. Even sent it in to the manufacturer for help. Please do not let this influence you on all Bersa fire arms. I would not have a problem with buying either the 380 or 9MM.

Even after having fixed my Helwan I still class it as worse than the pair of H&R Safety Hammerless Top Break Revolvers I have that keep breaking springs.

The first hand gun I ever bought, about 30 years ago, was a Bersa 380. It made it through 4 boxes of ammo before something in the area of the hammer pivot broke and a piece of metal came out. I still have it. I should probably send it in and have it fixed so I can sell it. I won't sell someone a gun I know is broken.

I also have a Ruger MKII with a 10" heavy barrel I bought about the same time period. Seemed cool at the time but is way too barrel heavy and never fed any ammo without FTE.

After those I became more gun savvy and don't have any purchase regrets. With the internet it is hard to buy a lousy gun any more if you do a bit of research. I also got into collecting Mil Surplus weapons in the 90's... it is hard to find a military gun that is a complete piece of junk, even the odd ones have a lot of character!

Now if you want to talk about guns I regret NOT purchasing... yeah, that would be a LONG list!
