This is the 2nd one in a single flat of shells and I'm not even half way through the flat as yet. Any one else seeing these squished shells? Impossible to get into the chamber so you better have some extras on the skeet field.

Agreed, contact Remington. Years ago I got a flat and there were no rims on the shells. Seriously. The bottom outside just gradually went up and got down to the diameter of the shell maybe 3/16" up, and there was no lip for the ejector to engage. Never seen it before or since. I contacted them, they asked me to send them a sample, I sent them 3 shells and they sent me a voucher good for another flat anywhere.

I went through 7's and 8's...bout 200 hundred of them early this year. One was like that.

out of all the shells ive ever shot the only one that was bad was a handload and it was cause a primer felll out

A buddy got a Winchester with no powder once. Duck flew by, dull pop/thud, he looked at me and when he dipped the barrel all that shot rolled out into the aluminum boat. I wish I had had a camera to capture his face. Real good think he didn't pull the trigger again - shotcup and wad were just out of the shell.

NO powder or wet powder? I've had duds caused by old rounds that got wet in the marsh. Now, I carry my rounds in a fanny pack high on my chest or under my waders. If you dunk 'em too many times, they'll dud eventually. Besides, the salt water is hell on the "brass".

I haven't used Remington in a while. They were making their 3" too long and when fired, the unfolded crimp would drag on my Mossberg's ejection port and hang up. No other round did that. I shoot federal or winchester usually and just avoid Remington even in 2 3/4" loads.

Those are some seriously mooshed shells....

A call to Remington with the lot number of that ammo is certainly in order here.
