Someone has offered to trade a Fusion 10 mm "Bear Edition" used for a (NIB) Henry 41 mag. I haven't a clue about this 1911 as far as value or reliability, and the interweb is all over the place about Fusion firearms. Can anyone with experience enlighten me?

Fusion Arms is owned and operated by Bob Serva, the former owner of Dan Wesson and creator of the Razorback 10 mm 1911,
They make mighty fine guns.

So I've got two:

A Fusion Riptide C in 45ACP, and a custom 9mm commander.

The custom is amazing - great shooter, perfect trigger, beautiful, perfectly dehorned. I just can't get it to feed reliably with everything as I would expect it to. So it'll be on its way back for tuning or (probably) replacement of the current un-ramped barrel with a ramped one. I've probably got 300 rounds through it and I keep thinking it's some combination of bullet weight, spring weight, and magazines it likes so I haven't sent it off yet.

The Riptide has been great. It's not exactly comfortable, but the stippling has enough "bite" to give a great grip regardless of conditions without damaging your skin. It's a fine line, and I think they walked it well.

As Iggy said, the guy who ran Dan Wesson before CZ bought them out started up Fusion.

I have a 9mm riptide, very well built pistol. Has functioned perfectly so far, approx 500 rounds of plinking ammo.

I saw a guy buy a really nice Fusion 1911 in .45 for like $350 one time. It wasn't their top of the line model, but still probably an $800 pistol. Like was said, lots of folks making 10mm 1911's. Not many making .41 levers.

I have two Fusions, a Combat and a Reaction in 45ACP. I like them both but I wouldn't trade the Henry for one. I had a Henry Big Boy Steel in 41 Mag. Sorry I got rid of it.
