That's good, about having large pockets.

There was a Youtube video about two thugs spending a few minutes standing idle and relaxed in a pawn shop.
When they finally point a gun at the lady clerk, this lady behind a counter stays On Her Feet, exchanging fire with multiple rounds fired! No info was avail. about possible injuries..

* The two men staff - really overweight guys - duck behind the other counter, and because their jeans were rather tight..
**..they couldn't pull their guns from their pockets . Totally helpless while lying prone on the floor (how had they mentally prepared for this?). The video might still be "out there"---

I think it helpful if I include a pic of my typical attire, cargo shorts & untucked shirt:
I know, shorts are wrinkled, that happens after worn for hours walking dogs, shooting range, errands ...

Yea, I carry "all that" despite that I live in a ̶g̶o̶o̶d̶ excellent area. ;):D

I have to wear overalls for a little while longer (surgery) and the Bulldog fits in the chest pocket perfectly.

I usually wear cargo shorts or cargo pants and carry my LCR in the cargo pocket.

In cooler weather my LCPII fits in the breast pocket of a big flannel shirt (holster and all).

The handguns in their holsters all fit the pockets snugly, so they can't get turned around in the pocket. None of them have safeties or hammers that can snag. Draw, aim, squeeze, bang. All of them can be accessed sitting or standing. There are a couple of others that I might carry in certain circumstances, but these are my "regulars".

Sfig P365 or if I want to go real small a Ruger LCP. I have my eye on a Walther TPH also.

I carried an lcp for almost 10 years until she finally died. Knowing it was nearing the end of its life I was planning on replacing it with a Taurus TCP, mostly because while the Ruger was reliable it was only broadside of a barn accurate. But when it finally locked up on me Ruger was kind enough to replace it with a new one, and for whatever reason this second one is actually accurate!

When concealed carry was legalized here, I thought in terms of pocket carry. A 642 fit fine. I bought one.

After some training, I gave up on pants pocket carry for primary carry. I also retired the 642 from primary carry.

I decided to try weak hand pocket carry for backup. For jacket or cargo shorts pockets, the revolver was heavier than I liked.

I am now trying out an LCP Max.

The only pocket sized gun is my wife's NAA 22mag. Maybe we will get some others, but I doubt it.

Original LCP in pocket, LC9s or LCrX in 38 on my hip. I will occasionally swap these hip guns out for a Kimber CDP9 or sig p238.

looking to buy, test and carry a Security 9 compact when the LGS gets one in stock.

Kahr .380 or Kel Tec P3AT. The Kel Tec if i'm going to get dirty, Kahr for going to town. In both cases, I will have a larger belt gun.
