What if Ron Paul drops out of the campaign. Who is the next candidate that supports the Right to Bear Arms.
I just hope Paul keeps running, there is no reason to quit that now he has the support of most pro gun groups.

Guiliani is out of the question. He hates guns as much as cats dislike dogs. I live in NYC, and know about his little scandals. If his own son can say something bad about him, he definitely has issues.
Hillary: I don't know her true colors. There are pro-gun Democrats, which make it even more complicated.
Obama: Not really.

Nobody knows Hilary's true colors, she says whatever you want to hear. And that tells me she's a liar. I know enough to say she's anti-gun though, look at her associates.

Obama is from Chicago. 'Nuff said.

Even if a pro-gun President is elected, will they be able to fix everything before they're impeached by our lame Congress?

Fred Thompson

is being courted heavily by conservatives. He has/had a good track record in the Senate, has long experience in D.C., and plays a conservative District Attorney on Law & Order (not important for his role, but for his name recognition and his acting ability -- his ability to project a strong, positive demeanor).

In the meantime, both parties' top tiers chew each up and/or self destruct.

Fred needs to get into the game ASAP to start building a warchest. Next years' candidates will be decided in late January/early February. I expect one he announces, conservative groups will line up donors.

Since he is not Ron Paul, he'll never be enough for some. Unlike Paul, Thompson has a realistic chance at gaining the White House.

He was instrumental in getting Chief Justice Roberts past the Democratic filibustery minions when Judge Roberts was nominated.

Since what we MOST need from an RKBA perspective are two more solid SCOTUS appointments, I'll take the nominees from someone who is pro-2A and has more than a snowball's chance in Hell of gaining the Oval Office.

Ron Paul ain't gonna get it done.

He certainly can get it done. He has alot of support. You just keep chanting 'he doesn't have a chance' mantra and I'll up my local grassroots efforts.

We have a gaillion candidate-threads going, and the primaries don't happen for months and months! This is superfluous; I haven't seen one comment that hasn't already been made.

Enuf.
