I did write NRA a few days ago asking if it is possible to have an NRA Channel or an informative program at least weekly reporting the "good guns did this week" and educating the public on the benefits of qualifying, responsible private citizens having firearms. Seems to me with the hundreds of channels we have to watch today, there's room for something good to be broadcast.

I shouldn't but must. Don't get me wrong here cause I think we are on the same side. But, Butter Knife Brigade, ? Makes darn good fighters. "One shot one kill" > one behind every balde of grass, One in every other door way.
I stated it before and will again. If only 3% stand, Thats over 2 million armed Armericans that have no paper work to worry about. If push came to shove.

Whos time are we wasting?

We're here for the preservation of that which we love. Lets grow some balls, brains, and brawn, and UNITE as a community of boomstick sweeping people. Registration is a drawing line in my book, no gun of mine will be registered. That amnesty period is a tactical suicide for them, that gets us time to muster and throw the $*** into the fan.

I don't care whos watching, because what can watch, can be seen, and i'll watch them back, i'll stare them right back as I watch the .govs oberve and quote. For I quote their misdemeanors against the prosperity and happiness I so desire, and for those I love.

We need to watch them more than they watch us.
If they try to silence us, we need to speak louder.
If we become discouraged, we need to encourage one another.
2 million men is more than enough, even against a multinational force.

We know we're right, so what are we afraid of?

In order to achieve victory, we need to be in a mindset for victory. We need to be the red blooded Americans that we are and abhor the idea of defeat, despise it with all the fabric of our essence. We have food on the table because our fathers stood for freedom. Our wives and daughters are safe because our fathers stood for freedom. We can insure our future by standing for freedom! No matter how far things go astray, we stand for the principles that made us great as a nation, and we must remember the lessons of the past, and apply them to the present, in order to avert a terrible future.

Many say we're on the decline, the decline is an idea of defeat, whether that trend be true or not, it is in due to the defeat mentality. For what can fall can rise again, and we can percieve a new golden era unlike we've experienced in our past, future or present. Know that we aren't alone 2 MILLION PEOPLE to stand by us! World War Two was won with the Guts God and Glory. We have tools we show off to each other, lets keep them, and protect that which we love.

As for the enemy, he can kiss my feet for all I care. I'm watching him.

Not sure about others. But I have a plan as do many that I know. I will not break the law. But when the Law goes against right. Then I may have to resist.

The issue, of course, is that law has already gone against right. ****, law went against right 42 years before I was born.

Personally, my line is a rather nebulous "when I feel we've lost all hope of resolving things within the system". Which is, of course, informed by my attitudes growing up within the existing system.

I have to agree with MIL-DOT, this is a very good thread and inspiring. I am reading many of my own thoughts, I only hope "We the People" do band together someday and take back our Country (big broad paintbrush stroke). A question I have is MIL-DOT's last sentence; I'm new here and really appreciate that the monitors seem to be completely unbiased when it comes to heading a thread off when it's going the wrong way. Too often there is the group of buddies who are free to torment and antagonize then the victim of the antagonization gets banned. But I've seen some stuff get shut down and as MIL-DOT points out that this thread isn't shut down yet; what are we allowed to talk about? I read the rules and it seems pretty standard "lets be reasonable, pretend this is a family channel" but threads that seem to be very gun related are locked??? Is there a one liner that describes the line in the sand?

RecycledTape, I'm loven your stuff, I just disagree with a few points in your last post. In short Societal Regression has pretty much tanked us and very hard times are right around the corner. Not knowing if I'm on a forbidden path, PM me if you want to know more.

What needs to happen is making our talking synonymous with our doing. So ladies and gentlemen, I propose we organize a form of awareness, directly on this issue, so that we won't have to self censor ourselves everytime we need to address an issue, we can talk alot, but lets do something. Well said; when I think of standing up against wrong, "Give me liberty or give me death" comes to mind. That's not just a catchy phrase, it's true; life really isn't worth living without freedom.

I often think of what I wold think if I get a life sentence (fat chance that would happen but sometimes I get bored and think stuff like this); part of me would say forget this, stick the needle in my arm. But what I think makes people desire the life sentence is that there is still freedom, real freedom out there and the hope of even a little chance keeps the desire to die at bay.

Big picture; I think we're headed for losing a lot of rights.

I must admit that it is fun to talk with like minded others.
I agree with you on many of your issues. We do need to remember that we are not alone. It may seem that way at times but we are not. Regardless of the reasons the govenrment gave us, things like Ruby Ridge, Waco, and now the Katrina thing must stop. We the citizens are the power they are our servants. We forgot that part. So did they. They seem to talk that way around election time but forget the day they take office. our public servant have a way of Demonizing us. If they came to my house they would lay out all my arms (Most of them) and show it all over the news. No one needs that many guns. And just look at those black ones. Wow , he must have been up to no good. That is what is wrong with this. The rich can own as many cars homes etc as they want. No one says crap about it. They even get away with murder and after some news time it all just fades away. The real bad guys get out of jail early for good behavior or over crowding. What happen to strike 3 and your out ? What happened to manditory penalties.
The anti gun crowd wants us disarmed so they can gain control. How will they enforce that ? With the Gun......

Right on, it's a way of putting us in our places and our place is a guilt trip from Uncle Sam that everything is our fault. Just like global warming Ha, Ha; recently there was the 1 hour, shut a cities unnecessary lights off as a symbol to all of us to conserve so we dont cause global warming. BULL, if there was such a thing as global warming that we could shut lights off to do something about, those city lights would be off every night, all night or be fined big time. Time after time government lays another guilt trip on us as though we are the big industries polluting our drinking water and spewing smoke from towers all day and night. and it doesnt matter anyway, the earth has done this for a loooooong time.

Then look at our priorities, making gasoline (ish) out of food???? ***; we're looking at Mad Max days ahead my friends. Right now there isn't enough food to feed Americans yet we switch food producing fields to corn for fuel.:banghead:

Hey there:
I'm no one special and this is not my world. I have 2 grown sons with grand kids and I love it. I am not getting any younger and it is not getting any easier to think about what may happen in our future. But I am 100% committed to what I believe in and will stand as long as my legs will hold me up. Crawl if I have too. I have no speacial desire to get hurt in some wild conflict. But again am 100% committed to do what it takes. First things first.
I would have to be 100% convinced that what I was about to do was 100% the right thing to do. I am not easily lead, not much of a follower.
I have had many years to sort out right from wrong and have learned how to tell the difference. I have taught this to my sons. They will teach their children. I just hope and pray that if we have to get it on, that it would happen when I was still able to do something about it. I also know that this whole thing is not about Me. I am not a selfish guy at all. In fact Just the opposite. I give untill it hurts. I do pretty fair on the income thing as I am self employed. I spoil my grand kids a lot. Even my sons. I would like nothing more then to continue doing this till I die of old age. But as I said I am 100% committed to resist If need be. The best part of all of this is "they" don't know me and never will. A lot of my freinds are cops that I helped train to shoot. Some millitary and so on. they would not want to come here for the wrong reason. They would not anyway.
So I guess if and when or rather when things fall apart I will be ready. I have been for the last 20 years now.
I never eat in a resturant with my back to the door.
