The Brady folks are going to be going nuts over the Omaha incident. We need to get an idea of where their major media is going to be, and what slant they're going to take.

Keep an eye out. If we can, a few polite notes commending folks on good reporting would be nice too.

So far the media seem to be concentrating on the shooter being a total nut job. I haven't heard the term "Assault Rifle" yet. Operative word being YET.
They're also saying the rifle was stolen.
So he didn't buy it at a gun show that has loopholes.

But, you're right. The Brady bunch can't let this go by.

I am reading the words "assault rifle" all over the web.....

Brady took less than one day to politicize this.

And uses the opportunity to call for renewed bans on:
1) "assault weapons"
2) high capacity ammunition "clips"

Yup this is the same educated media that called it an ak-47, showed the specs on an SKS, and showed the picture of a lever action rifle.

These people don't care about reporting the truth, all they care about is fueling thier gun grabbing agendas.

just look at the points the media leaves out, like the mall was a "gun free zone" the gun didn't shoot 9 people the guy pulling the trigger did, and things like this happen because nobody is willing to stop it when it starts how come the men being interviewed said they just ran? what happened to the men in this country being the protectors?

If honest, law-abiding men were allowed to carry comprehensively they would be willing – and able – to protect.

Someone other than the NRA needs to be point and go after the "gun free zones" like Brady after assult guns etc... Best if we all did that..

I can't believe how many "automatic assault rifles" or "high powered sniper rifles" I see listed on their page showing the statistics since the ban expired. Typical lies.
