i cant find hk ump 45 anywhere on the internet for sale does anybody know of a website

That is because you cannot legally own one. Not available for civilian ownership (yet). Trust me, I have looked and looked and read forum after forum after forum. Can't happen. But I really want one too.

Try looking for an HK USC. With a few mods that should be what you are looking for.

Unless of course you already knew that.

can you buy them when you are law enforcement and are they illegal in the whole U.S.

let me ask, why do you want one? Seems like because this is your first post would you happen to be new to owning firearms? Im going to take a wild guess that you probably played Call of Duty?

The H&K UMP is a post-'86 MG. Therefore, it can only be owned by FFL/SOT dealers (w/ LE demo letter) and LE/Gov/Mil agencies.

The closest you can get to legally owning a H&K UMP, is by modifying a H&K USC.
Acquire a H&K USC, acquire a UMP parts kit, acquire US made UMP parts and convert the USC into a semi-auto only UMP. It'll end up costing around $2000-4000. Or you can check the forums at hkpro, sometimes they pop up for sale there.

gun addict i actually own a couple guns already i have a glock 22 a sig sauer mosquito a remington 870 security and a remington model 700 sps 308 and i like the way the ump looks and no i didnt play the game i just wanted to find out why it is so hard to find one on the internet and some of the other replys answered my question

sure thing, generally submachineguns, or any FA firearms are hard to find and buy. Cheapest FA i've seen is a crappy Mac 10 going for $3500

Comments like these aggravate the hell out of me. So what if he plays a game, uses a weapon in the game and it sparks an interest in it?

How many S&W Model 29's sold after Dirty Harry came out in 71'? I see no difference other than the type of media.

why would it bother you? Was i attacking him in any form? Was i being offensive? It was simply a question, i know tons of people who started collecting firearms starting off with video games and Movies, dosnt bother me, but it's good to inform them what's avaliable

My mistake, I read your post as condescending. Most of them, in regards to video games, are.

I really want a FAL with an Aimpoint after using it in COD MW2 to put "tangos" in the dirt with one... ;-)

This just came out in an email blast from CDNN:

It's a whole new can of worms to convert it to full auto, however. And then, you'd probably have to register the USC itself as an SBR if you want the short barrel, in addition to getting the legal full auto parts. At least, that's what I think... I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will correct me if I'm wrong.

Still, that USC does look pretty nice.

HK right now has a 100 dollar rebate on Mark 23's and USC's so you could get one and then get some parts from hkparts.net and send it over to chopstix at hkpro and he could convert you a usc into a UMP

There is no legal way to convert it to full auto, short of being in the business of manufacturing firearms with a FFL-07 and 02 SOT. For us mere mortals, there is no way to legally own a machinegun made after 1986

ETA: I don't know if it is possible with a USC (probably not with how HK treats civilian gun owners), but if you acquired a registered HK auto sear (~$12k) and put it in the USC that would be legal, since the sear itself is the machinegun.
