I have one of the new S&W remakes of the Model 1917, but with a 5 1/2" barrel instead of the 4" barrel that I wanted. It is a little long for a belt holster, but is there someone that could make a good copy of the shoulder holster navy pilots used to carry the Victory Model revolvers. It would need to be custom because mine is an N frame, not a K, and it has the longer barrel. The "US" imprint would be nice as well.

But I don't think he makes reproduction WWII GI shoulder Holsters.

El Paso Saddlery is the best game in town for what you want.

They will make the exact holster you want in any barrel lengh you specify on the order.

Yep, I had El Paso Saddlery make an M1917 flap holster made for a 5 1/2" Ruger NM Vaquero and had "USMC" stamped on the flap, they do some great work, but be prepared for a long wait.

I haven't read Shotgun News in quite awhile but I do remember a regular advertiser who sold replica holster for a large number of old military pistols. You might want to pick up a copy of that publication and check it out. Seems like that company usually ran 3 or 4 full page ads.
