Gone. Dead. Kaput. The owner of the site (Mark Solomon) got bored with it and apparently just gave up on it. More details below.

PDO was a good site until they started that silly grading of posts. Got two 0s for recommending that a guy buy a Remington Model 870 for home defense. The Benelli and Mossberg advocates must have taken exception.

I miss packing.org for one major reason - I cannot find another single location which shows me the training requirements for various states. (it had the links to the each state's CCW information page)
