... for my 92FS ?

I bought some Beretta grip screws, and the package says they’re Hogue screws. They’re not flat-head, they’re not Phillips, they’re not Torx, they’re not Allen, and they’re not “star”. They look like a a Torx except they appear to be round in the interior. I need to either buy a tool that works with this type of screw, or I need to find a source for “normal” Beretta grip screws. The one in my 92FS are flats.

Thanks for the link.

I think you're right about it being a hex screw. I applied some bright light and some magnification, and I can see that there appears to be about a 1/32" or 1mm hex hole recessed below the external round hole. I didn't know they made them that small, and I guess I never noticed a screw with a hex hole recessed inside a top round hole.

These things must be made for younger eyes. :)

You are correct, they are plain ol' hex screws. The hex shape starts just below the surface, like .25 mm below, and I didn't see it before. I can see it easily today.

The opening at the very top of the screw is round.

Previously I was seeing a smaller hex-shaped indentation at the bottom of the "well."
