Where to buy- custom chamber adapter

I have a 357 Herrett contender barrel. I would like to get a chamber adapter to 357 mag and possibly 9mm. A local machine shop is willing to make one but quoted it at standard hourly shop rate so it’s a big question of how much time it would take, and that would be some form of tool steel. Likely d2 knowing these guys. I would prefer a known adapter maker but the ones I know of are not seeming like good options right now.
