Hey all, looking for a set of nice wood grips for my S&W 329PD. I've seen Hogues, but really don't know where to look for something nice and purdy. Suggestions?
I Just purchased a set of Ahrends grips for my 629 DX.. Very comfortable on a round to square but conversion...But one thing I the pictures on the web sight that are labeled eye candy are one in a million..(So I was told by the Company).. so expect a color variation...
There are a lot of good grips out there like Craig Spegel, Keith Brown and Karl Nill but they are high priced. (but worth the money) I have a set of Badger grips on my M640 and they are great grips with a fair price. I can shoot full powder Magnum rounds without discomfort. I also have a set of Badger Boot grips on my M642. IMO you get more than you pay for with Badger grips...
My two favorites for S&W grips are Ahrends and Badger. I have some of each for K, L and N frames. Here are some Ahrends cocobolo wood finger groove grips on my model 629 Classic:
