where to get 7.62x54R ammo?

Wideners is a ripoff?

So 45$ for the 300 round tins of bulgarian yellow tip ball that is brass cased that nobody else has any cheaper is a ripoff? $5.95 for new boxer primed 7.62x39 and .223 is a ripoff?

124 grain 9x19 wolf for 7.45 a box ( a hell of a lot cheaper than cheaperthandirt.com or anybody else IF they even have it in stock)
or 1200 .308 cal orange tip Tracer Projectiles for $48 are ripoffs?

+1 on Wideners from me too. I bought a lot of 8mm and x54R from them. Shipping $ is what you have to watch, but that's a rule for all online ammo purchases.

BTW, the bulgarian heavy ball has a nice kick to it out of an M44.

AIM is good

I just bought 1760 rds. of the Hungarian LPS from AIM week. Unfortunately, I think I got the last of it, but they are a class act outfit. Looks like they have new Brown Bear and late 40's Soviet stuff now.

ammunitiontogo.com and AIM are usually 10-15% cheaper than Widener's, plus shipping is usually cheaper but that's because of where I'm shipping it to. Plus Widener's usually doesn't have surplus like the other guys do. But I'm not here to rag on Widener's, just trying to give some advice on what's worked for me.

Here in Finland You can pick upp ones fired Lapua and Sako cases from shooting places. Then reloading.

Grafs doesn't charge shipping. Prices are better than wideners for reloading equipment, once you factor shipping in, especially if you buy a lot at a time (flat $4.95 or so handling fee at Grafs).

Best place to get cheap ammo? Buy a couple of boxes of wolf gold/prvi partizan/hotshot ammo, and reload the suckers with a lee loader. Better, cheaper, and fun to boot.
