Where To Get A Scabbard Made?

I have a Himalayan Imports Everest Kitana. The sword is phenomenal. The scabbard, not so much. The fit is too loose. The mouth of the scabbard allows the Habaki to rattle and if slightly inverted past horizontal, the sword begins to fall out.

I tried a small piece of loop velcro on the inside of the opening to apply tension, but it didn't work out so well. The edges began to peel leaving the adhesive residue on the blade.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Thanks,
Mot

It depends upon what you want. If you want a sheath created by a Japanese expert...you're going to pay quite a bit.

I recommend searching various Japanese Sword Arts ("JSA") forums for a maker.

Not sure what pictures are needed. Blade wobble is both front to back and side to side.

I do like the idea of leather, wrapping from side, around spine, to other side. What type of glue would you recommend?

I would like enough tension to hold the scabbard in place when I pick up the kitana by the hilt, and not just fall off. With how scary sharp this thing is, it strikes me as dangerous.

More pics please. Tilt the sheath so we can see what the 6" below the throat looks like and a pic of the 6" around the guard of the sword.

theotherwaldo's advice to fold and hammer out a piece of sheet brass is probably best to tighten up the space.
