Diger International no longer carries colibri anymore:( Where can a poor man get this stuff at a good price and not be raped like a wolverine on pcp anymore, on shipping?

The top two only sell super, and the second one is sold out of regular:(

Cheaper than dirt charging 25.96 with "handling charge" and shipping.

Couldn't get ahold of the other two, and neither will tell shipping with buying it or creating an account.

Local store has none in stock for awhile. This is turning depressing.

Try Dillon, they usually carry it.

Gulf Coast Ammunition in Groves, Texas (800-725-6578) has Colibri for $14.00/500 and Super Colibri for 19.00/500. They advertise in Shotgun News and they will usually match prices.

Their website is just now getting started but I have found them to be very freiendly and helpful over the phone.

I love the Aguila .22 rimfire 60gr Subsonic ammo.

Any gunshows in your area any time soon? I tend to buy much of my ammo at the occasional show that I go to just because of the shipping charges. I figure that the $5 entry fee is cheaper than the shipping. Besides you can walk around and snicker at the $225 "rare" M/N 91/30's that you know you can go home and order for $69.95  .

What Greg L said...

I've had pretty good luck at shows, too. If you're on the western-ish side of the lower 48, a trip to the Miwall table usually puts a dent in the wallet and a smile on the face. Their selection varies a bit from show to show, but I have purchased Aguila/Colibri from them.

And yes, the nice folks will let you borrow their hand truck for a few minutes if you're buying in quantity... :D

To continue the parrot motif of this post :neener: I'm with Blues Bear on the Aguila 60-grainers. (Pic and specs at the bottom of the first page of http://www.aguilaammo.com/rimfire.pdf) They're quiet and accurate, they feed in my CZ75 Kadet, and there's something inherently amusing about throwing that big ol' boxcar full of lead out of a .22 (the bullet-to-case ratio of the cartridge is about 2/3 - 1/3)... ;)

...And a late update after more surfing on the subject. Sez here:

"The Aguila company has deleted Colibri from its inventory"
I don't know these guys from 1-Adam-12, but it might be a clue on your original supplier's decision, Sentry. Good luck in the search!

CTD 25.96

AIM 22.95

Outdoor Marksman 20.94 $50 minimum order

DBP only Regular Colibri

GLA $50 Dollar Minimum

Natchezss $50 Dollar Minimum

The next gun show is in a month, I'm a gun nut, I can't wait that long. AIM has the best price so far, anyone know of any others that might stock it?
