Where to get tumbling meda?

Others will surely suggest pet stores and for crushed walnut shells (lizzard litter) can be a pretty good deal, but most of the corn cob litter/media I've seen in pet stores is the "flake" type which doesn't work in a tumbler...

Works as well or better then any commercial tumbler media I have ever used.
It is small enough it doesn't clog flash holes.

There are a few gun stores in my area that say they sell reloading supplies and they have some. I just ordered from midway.

where you live? Here in iowa you can get a 50lb bag of corn cob for 14 bucks.

Here`s the brand of corn cob to get from the pet stores it`s the same size as reg. tumblin media .Note the size on the bag .

If you have a local Harbor Freight then that is where I get mine even cheaper than petco.

Keep in mind that Walnut media is for cleaning cases.
Corn cob is for bringing it to a high polish it after it is cleaned first.

I dump my dirty cases in my 20/40 corn cob media that has a teaspoon of liquid auto polish added and they come out clean and polished. Never have used the walnut, it may clean faster but I fail to see how it could clean better. Only way to clean better that I can see is by going to wet S/S pin tumbling. And at my age I'm not going to invest in another complete different way of tumbling.
Like many of you I have used both corncob and walnut. While I admit that corncob does get the brass 'prettier' walnut is faster and I have not noticed that the paper cares how pretty my brass is when I punch holes in it, so I use walnut from Harbor Freight.

The amazon.com Petco link, they have the 25 qt bag on sale. $13.99 and shipping is $5.99- for as many bags as you order. I ordered three and shipping was $5.99 total.
About $.50 per pound to your door, and the Zilla stuff is fine enough I have no trouble at all with clumping and blocking flash holes or getting stuck in 223 bottlenecks.
I like it way better than stainless steel pins, and after building a couple wet SS pin tumblers, I'd much rather use the walnut + NuFinish + odorless mineral spirits + torn dryer sheets- any day.
The SS pins get stuck in the cases and in the flash holes, and then you have to rinse and dry and hope all the pins came out... Built a rack to let the pins rinse out. Still had pins stuck, two SS pins together wedge nicely in a flash hole. Lots of work for no real gain IMHO. I am junking my SS tumblers and pins. What a bad idea.

My local Walmart happens to carry the lizzard walnut shells in the pet section. I don't remember the exact price but it was around $5-$7 for a pretty good size bag.

I use those products 50-50 and use a capful of NuFinish and a few scraps of old dryer sheets. 45-60 minutes of tumbling and I have nice clean cases with some shine. If I wanted them spotless I could go for much longer but that is more than enough time for them to be functional.

I got mine at Grainger, cheap. It works a lot better than the pet store stuff I tried because that was too coarse.

I recently got a bag of Hartz corn cob small animal bedding litter at Walmart in the pet section. It cost less than $4 for a bag that weighed between 8 and 10 pounds; I don't remember exactly.
They clean fine, especially since I mixed some auto scratch remover in with them. This corn cob litter is ground pretty big. It works great for straight-walled cases. However, I just cleaned a batch of 30/06 brass, and the media packed very tightly into the cases and would not pour out. I had to use a small screwdriver in almost every case to loosen up the jammed media, then tap it out. Took a long time. I learned that I have to use media that is ground finer for bottle-necked cases.
