Out of the box, the S&W M&P Pro.

With some gunsmithing, the M&P or the XD. Both rival, maybe surpass, a custom 1911 trigger.

.

The out of the box trigger on my MK III Browning Hi Power is tremendous. Yes, even with the mag disconnect still installed.

My 9mm Baer and S&W952-2 have about the same feel, the 1911 is slightly better. For a DA I owned a Sig 226 Sport Stock that was exceptional.

I've got a BHP with worked internals that rivals most 1911s. My 9mm 1911 had a terrific trigger.

By the way, I define terrific as free of take-up, creep, and overtravel, with a break around 4lb-5lb. I have other triggers that are lighter but that have lots of takeup or creep.

Other, 9mm 1911.

The Witness Elite series has very nice triggers and come in 9mm, but how happy you will be with the gun will depend on you luck of the draw with magazines unless you stick with .45ACP.

9mm 1911
S&W 952
Sig X-Five SAO
HK P7

The "Other" category could be quite long since the list in the poll generally contains guns with thoroughly unmemorable triggers.

Once I installed the #3.5 trigger in my glock 19 it broke perfectly and feels closer to the pull of my 1911's.

Since your choices are limited to the poll list, there's your answer.

I voted other. Your not gonna get a better trigger then a 1911, however, my CZ75 is the best I have. After a little work, that is:D

Run away from the KT P11, worst trigger on Earth:eek:

These are my personal experiences, some people like P11 triggers:barf:

If a had a 9mm 1911, im sure that would be the best. However, My new Kahr MK9 has the best DAO trigger I've ever shot. it is so smooth going back and when it breaks I swear i need to look for some glass lol
