Which ammo for my 2" snubnose SP101

Price is much better per round for the DoubleTap, and available right now - the other is a bit hard to find.

This will be for the wife's bedside/carry gun. She's OK with recoil, but I want to keep it in the .38 +P range instead of a full power .357 load.

I carry the .38 Speer Gold Dot Hollow Points in my SP101. Have not tried the Double Tap. No problems or issues. Very controllable (subjective). Mike

I have bought and carried both and see no real difference between the two except for the price. When I don't carry the "FBI Load" I carry those 125gr DoubleTap .38 Special +P rounds.

The FBI Load I'm now carrying is the Remington 158gr LSWC/HP .38 Special +P ammo, Part #R38S12.
