Which Belt Mountain base pin for a Uberti Cattleman?

I want to replace the base pin on my Cattleman and I heard that Belt Mountain is the way to go, however, on their web site they don't specifically mention Uberti's. Will a base pin for a 1873 Colt work? I thought Id try here before calling them.

It did on mine.
Unless they have changed them recently, all early Colt parts fit them.

I have a Uberti frame with a BM base pin holding a 1st Gen Colt 32-20 WCF cylinder in, with a 1st Gen Colt barrel screwed on it.

Yes, Belt Mountain base pins will fit Ubertis. I have put them in Colts, Rugers, and Ubertis.

I do recommend staying away from the pins with the little set screw. Too much torque on the set screw can warp the pin just enough to bind the cylinder. Plus, you have to keep that tiny allen wrench handy if you want to take the cylinder out at the range. If the pin is properly fitted, it should stay in place without a locking screw even with the heaviest recoiling loads.
