Sig P220 Carry or full size
Quote: Which .45 ACP handgun will have the following:
(in no particular order)
- highly reliable/dependable
- lowest recoil
- most ammo - spare ammo included (within reason)
- easy reloading
Stuff I don't care about:
(not an obstacle)
- cost
- weight
- revolver vs. autoloader (both are fine)
- ease of concealing
- readiness to fire (I don't mind chambering or disengaging a safety, etc.)

Sig P220 Carry or full size
Comes with two 8 round magazines and one 10 round magazine
Comes with Night Sights, glow 24/7 for some 8yrs..
Easiest gun to disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble, out there.
Accurate out of the box, on the money, and least amount of recoil, smooth firing guns.
DA/SA, allowing you to have one chambered, but hammer can be seen down, and requires a 10.5 lb full pull to fire, or you can manually thumb-cock the hammer putting it into SA mode and only requires a 4.5 lb pull.
Easy to load, yep.
No safety (a good thing) but has a "frame mounted decocker-only", that allows you to decock the gun out of SA mode, back into DA mode, without compromising your proper 2-hand grip.
Dependable, oh yes, reliable, oh yes, fires anything you put in it, oh yes, every time.
Either gun, ccw if needed, medium in weight, great for ease of point to aim.
