Which of these for IDPA?

There is an IDPA chapter that meets 2nd Sunday of every month near my home. I had intended to go and watch this past one, but it was Mothers Day. Maybe June!
If you had to choose one of the below for IDPA, which would you go with, assuming you shot them equally well-

Glock 20
Sig P220 (stainless)
Hi Power 9mm
None of the above

I have each, don't intend to purchase anything specifically for IDPA.

Hmmm - if not buying then (ammo cost aside) the SIG would be my top choice. Tho I do like the economy for ammo using my 226 and 9mm.

Second choice for me - and have used mine last year - the BHP - if no problem over S/A useage then it's a fine platform.

Maybe I shouldn't leave Glock till last but I ain't a Glocker! That said - many of the guys are and do darned well.

Frankly - it has to be the platform you consider yourself best with re handling, shootability and accuracy. Plus having an adequate rig too of course.

The one ypu shoot the best....or want to learn to shoot the best..or carry....I use my Glock17 at idpa practice every week for 2 years(almost every week that is)and I now shoot it the best of all my guns...I just got my revolver back from the factory and I'm going to use it all summer till I can shoot it as good as my glock.Then use it as my carry gun.Not that you asked all that....

I've tried a number of pistols for IPSC and Action Pistol shooting. I settled on the Browning, although I shoot it in 40 cal., and I had the trigger improved considerably. It's much easer to shoot single action rather than double action (as with the SIG) on that first shot.

The Glock has the simplest manual-of-arms. Given equal gun-handling experience with each, the simplest gun gives you the most 'spare' attention for learning the new skills needed to compete.
