Which Rifle and Truck do you like?

In his editor's column, in the October issue of the American Rifleman, Mark Keefe posts the results of an informal poll of the devotees of the Rem. 700 and the Winchester 70. The pollster claims the fans of one rifle like one brand of truck, and the rest like the other brand.

I know the options are rather narrow, but I just want to see if this poll yields a similar result. If you don't like either rifle, or either kind of truck, then start another poll. What do AK/AR/Enfield/Mosin people drive?

Dodge Dakota(second one Ive owned, out of three vehicles), milsurp rifles, ar-15, and still searching for which modern bolt rifle design appeals to me the best. Probally would be the model 70, as it appears classier, but I like the savage bolt rifles too.

Sort of an interesting concept - - -

fistful, do you, as poll originator, have any way of corelating the rifle/truck combos? I mean, I can tell at a glance that as I write this, Fords and Remingtons are slightly ahead, but there are bound to be SOME Chevy guys who prefer Remingtons, and so forth.

Personal preferences: As it happens, I tend toward Remington 700s (I have two) and Fords in general (but only recently obtained my first Ford truck, unless you count a big window van in the 1970s.) BUT - - The first "truck gun" for my F150 was a pre-64 Win 94 .30-30. Hey, it just seemed, well, kinda TRADITIONAL, being a Texan, y'know?

I am driving my last American automobile (a Ford Ranger) and just recently got rid of my last (new purchase) American rifle (A Remington 700). Pretty sad huh?

Die hard Chevy man myself. I have owned a couple of Dodges, one Ford (the first was the last) but countless GMC/Chevy pickups.

But I'm split on the Rem/Win side. If I count what I own...it's a dead heat.
If you ask me what I prefer...it's the Remington, for reasons I'm not sure I can articulate.

What about Cooper, Kimber, Ruger, Marlin, Savage rifle's?

They are well represented in my stable as well.
