White House issues statement opposing HR 44

As you would expect, it's full of misinformation, and says if it passes and comes to Biden's desk he will veto it.

Bear in mind, if Congress goes on record opposing the pistol brace rule, that will be an important point for SCOTUS to consider if any of our pending cases get appealed there, given that one of our main arguments is that only Congress gets to make laws, not bureaucratic agencies.

Also this vote (tomorrow!) forces the congresscritters to go on record on gun rights.

There are two links below, either one of which should guide y'all to the right statement. In short, it's a statement about a resolution dealing with a rule that's currently under legal challenge and being discussed elsewhere on THR. I don't see this one going anywhere but straight off the rails into pure politics. Accordingly, closed.
